Tulle will throw off the shackles of yellowness and delight you with whiteness, which can be compared to the dazzling alpine snow.
Dust, sunlight and steam from cooking food, if the tulle hangs in the kitchen, lead to the curtain acquiring an unsightly shade.
Regular washing will not help to return the tulle to its original whiteness. But experienced housewives have found a way to deal with the problem without resorting to radical and expensive measures.
To implement the trick that Soviet housewives used, you need starch. This ingredient restores whiteness and forms an invisible film on the curtain. Subsequently, it will repel dirt, so the tulle will stay clean longer.
Fill a basin with 5 liters of warm water. Then prepare a solution: combine 1 glass of water and the same amount of starch. Mix the product and then pour it into the basin.
Place the tulle in the solution. Leave the curtain in it for 5-6 hours. Then do not rinse the tulle, but immediately squeeze it out and dry it.
