How to clean a toaster from crumbs and carbon deposits: an easy way to extend the life of the equipment

If you use your toaster often, you've probably accumulated a lot of crumbs in the appliance and its "insides" are covered in carbon deposits.

To solve this problem, first clean the tray - the place where the pieces of bread fall.

This is the only part of the toaster that you can wash without fear. The main thing is to remember to wipe the tray dry afterwards.

If this part is not removable, simply turn the device upside down and shake it to remove all the crumbs.

After this, fill the toaster with salt, leaving only 1-2 cm to the top. Use coarse table salt for this step.

Now shake the device well for 1-2 minutes - this will help you get rid of carbon deposits and crumbs stuck to the walls that you were unable to shake out.

All that remains is to pour out the salt and remove the remains of this peculiar cleaning agent using a stream of air directed from a hair dryer.

Alternatively, use an old toothbrush and baking soda to clean the toaster.
