Many stylists are confident that woolen items will never go out of fashion.
But even if you don’t chase after ever-changing trends, your wardrobe will definitely contain such an item as wool socks knitted by a caring grandmother.
It is for this reason that any housewife will benefit from knowing how to properly care for products made from such material.
Firstly, it should be taken into account that hand washing is preferable for wool.
In the same case, if you still decide to turn to the washing machine for help, it is worth choosing a special mode, which is called "Wool". In the absence of such, use the delicate mode, choosing the minimum revolutions and refusing to spin.
Secondly, woolen items do not tolerate high temperatures, so never use hot water or, especially, boiling water for washing.
Thirdly: if you are faced with the task of getting rid of a stain, do not under any circumstances use a technique such as rubbing with your hands.
Instead, use a gentle stain remover. It will do much less damage to your clothes than washing them.
