To make tulle crystal white, one wash is not enough.
Decades ago, our grandmothers used blueing to remove the yellow tint and make the curtains white.
Unfortunately, this simple, yet effective remedy is currently undeservedly forgotten.
So it's high time to remember this method if you want to turn gray tulle into snow-white.
Fill a basin with 10 liters of warm water and add 1 capful of blueing, after which the water will turn blue.
Make sure that the preparation has dissolved evenly, after which you can soak the washed curtains in the basin.
The procedure will take about 15 minutes, after which you will need to rinse the tulle in clean water.
Experienced housewives hang curtains on the window immediately after washing, where they dry. To smooth out creases, if necessary, it is worth using a steamer.
