White Bed Linen Without Bleach: Myth or Reality

Advanced housewives have long since stopped buying bleaches if they want to get rid of yellowness and grayness in their laundry.

Instead, they use a combination of hydrogen peroxide, citric acid, and washing soda.

This solution is capable of removing even such difficult stains as fuel oil and diesel fuel stains, not to mention restoring the snow-white color of your laundry.

First, remove any surface dirt, then you can begin preparing the soaking solution.

To do this, you will need to heat 2 liters of water and add 1 teaspoon of peroxide, the same amount of lemon juice and 1 tablespoon of soda.

The laundry should lie in this solution for about 10-15 minutes.

The final stage is a thorough rinse. Perhaps it is not worth reminding that you should only work with cleaning agents wearing gloves so as not to harm the skin of your hands.

Another important note: do not use hydrogen peroxide in combination with synthetic bleaches, as this reaction may result in the release of hazardous substances.
