A refrigerator is an indispensable device that significantly extends the shelf life of many food products.

And all thanks to the low temperature, which does not allow food to start spoiling prematurely.

However, this does not mean that absolutely all products should be placed in the refrigeration unit.

There are foods that are extremely negatively affected by cold.

Food loses its bright taste and normal consistency.

What foods should not be stored in the refrigerator

Stop placing the following food products on the shelves, door and special compartments of the appliance:

  • potato;
  • peaches;
  • onions;
  • tomatoes;
  • garlic.

Any of the above products becomes less tasty (or even tasteless) when exposed to low temperatures for a long time.

Also, some people put bread in the refrigerator. This should not be done. Yes, storing in a refrigerator extends the "life" of the flour product. But at the same time, it deprives it of its bright taste.

So, give up the habit of stocking up on bread. Buy only as much as you can eat in the near future.
