Toothpaste is undoubtedly a great cleaning product. Fun fact: it can be used for more than just oral hygiene.
In addition to teeth, toothpaste can also tidy up other things stored in the house.
Dishes
If you notice that your favorite mug is covered with an unsightly film from tea or coffee, squeeze a small amount of paste onto a sponge and go over the dirty areas.
The product contains abrasive substances, which are what we should thank for the quick removal of plaque. You will see: the dishes will sparkle like new.
Cutlery
If you are a proud owner of silver cutlery, you must be aware that these items need to be cleaned from time to time.
For polishing, you can use the same toothpaste. Apply a small amount to a spoon, fork or knife, spread over the entire surface and polish the metal after 5-10 minutes, using a soft microfiber cloth for this.
At the end of the cleaning procedure, the cutlery is supposed to take a warm "shower", after which it is wiped dry with a towel.
Iron
To clean a dirty soleplate, wait until the iron has cooled down, then apply the paste to the soleplate and wipe it with a clean cloth. Then fill the tank with water, place the iron on an old towel and activate the steam function.
After 5 minutes, unplug the appliance, let it cool down and remove any remaining dirt and carbon deposits with a cloth.
