What to Consider When Planning Your Vacation Schedule
As mentioned above, the vacation schedule is drawn up no later than January 5.
Another period may be established by a collective agreement/contract or agreed upon by the employer and the trade union.
In small organizations, a vacation schedule can be drawn up for the entire team at once.
In organizations with a complex structure, it is advisable to draw up schedules for structural divisions and then combine them into a general schedule.
When drawing up a schedule, the employee’s opinion is taken into account if this does not interfere with the exercise of the right to leave by other employees and the normal activities of the organization.
When planning the order of vacations, the employer is obliged to take into account the wishes of employees who are granted vacation in the summer/at another time convenient for them, as well as during a certain period.
The vacation schedule is approved by the manager and communicated to all employees.
The vacation schedule is agreed upon with the trade union if this is stipulated in the collective agreement.
