Belarusian military personnel invited their civilian compatriots to celebrate the New Year with them.
The press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic reported on its official Telegram channel where and when people not in uniform can do this.
The date of the celebration is set for December 21 (Saturday). The location is the Minsk shopping center "Pershy Natsyyanalny Gandlevy Dom".
It is there, on the specified day, the military promise, that a “large-scale celebration” will take place in honor of the upcoming Christmas and New Year.
The Ministry of Defense assures that the program will be bright and unforgettable.
According to the department’s statement, it was prepared with the support of the capital’s mayor’s office.
The press service announced a performance by the Military Academy orchestra and creative groups from the Minsk garrison units.
They also said that there will be virtual games that emulate driving and controlling unmanned systems.
In addition, those who accept the invitation will be treated to themed areas and photo zones.
The event will also include competitions and various activity zones for children and teenagers.
Among other things, Belarusians were promised the opportunity to “treat themselves to some soldier’s porridge.”
The festive event with the military starts at two o'clock in the afternoon. Admission is free.
