As of this Monday, September 23, there are bans and restrictions on hiking in forests in all regions of Belarus.
The reason for this is the increased fire danger (due to which a red danger level has been declared in the Gomel, Mogilev and Vitebsk regions).
The fact that bans and restrictions on visiting Belarusian forests are in effect throughout the country is evidenced by the interactive map, colored in red and yellow, on the website of the Ministry of Forestry.
According to it, on September 23 in the Minsk region, the forests in the Berezinsky, Borisovsky, Krupsky and Logoisk districts are completely inaccessible even for walks.
In other locations in the region, restrictions are in place that allow you to go into the forest, but only on foot.
The restrictions prohibit driving into the forest areas in cars and, especially, lighting fires in them in such weather.
And in the Mogilev region, the bans apply in all districts, meaning that you can’t even go into the forest on foot.
The restrictions apply to all districts of the Brest and Grodno regions.
The bans in the Vitebsk region concern forests in 15 districts, in the Gomel region – in 13 districts. The bans are in effect in the remaining districts of these regions.
Let us add that the situation with prohibitions and restrictions can change during the day (somewhere they will be cancelled, somewhere they will be introduced), and the online map “live” reacts and reflects all adjustments in real time.
