The Ministry of Housing and Communal Services of Belarus reported on the state of affairs in the country with preparations for the next autumn-winter season.
According to the deputy head of the department of public utilities and energy, Aleksey Filanovich, more than 50% of the measures have been completed to date.
The remaining activities have been completed by 98-99 percent, the Belta agency quotes the specialist as saying.
He noted that for many relevant activities – preparation of housing and communal services organizations for the heating season – the deadline has been set until September 20.
At the beginning of this week, more than half of such activities were completed at 100%.
And for the rest, the readiness is 98%-99%,” Filanovich said.
Let us recall that, according to the government decree, heating in the country is turned on if the average daily temperature over three days does not exceed +8 degrees.
The relevant decisions are made by local authorities based on the established forecast indicators.
