The heating season in Gomel housing stock begins on October 9, BELTA reports.
The corresponding order of the Gomel City Executive Committee No. 330r is dated October 7.
The document states that from October 9, it will become noticeably warmer in apartments, dormitories, educational and cultural institutions, and city baths.

The luckiest will be the Gomel residents living in the coverage area of the Northern District heating networks - the state enterprise "Central", "Zheleznodorozhnoe".
Then the heat will start flowing to the Southern RTS (KZhREUP "Novobelitskoye Gomel") and Selmashevskoye RTS (KZhREUP "Selmashevskoye").
The launch of the system in the coverage area of the Western (GP "Sovetskoye") and Central RTS (GP "Centralnoye", GP "Zheleznodorozhnoe") will begin on October 10.
The message states that the transition to hydraulic operating mode and the release of thermal energy in accordance with the temperature schedule is carried out within 10 calendar days from the moment the heating is turned on.
