Exercises to repel cyber attacks ended in Belarus on October 4. 29 teams took part in them.
The cyber training ground created incidents that posed a certain threat to the information infrastructure. The specialists managed to repel 21 attacks.
The National Cybersecurity and Cyber Incident Response Center conducted training to counter incidents at information infrastructure facilities, BELTA reports with reference to the Operational and Analytical Center under the President of Belarus.
The training sessions were aimed at improving the knowledge, skills and abilities of employees responsible for cybersecurity.
Classes were held from October 1 to 4, 2024.
29 teams took part in them, including 17 certified cybersecurity centers.
21 incidents were created at the cyber testing ground. It is known that all attacks were successfully repelled.
The organizers report that events of this kind will be held regularly in the future.
The responsibility for conducting them is assigned to certified cybersecurity centers.
This measure should increase the level of protection of the national information infrastructure from external and internal threats, the report says.
