Seven years ago, Chinese chefs prepared an unusual dish.
We are talking about very long noodles.
The length of the pasta product was... more than three kilometers.
The "Macaroni" had to be rolled up. And it turned out to be simply enormous.
How the World's Longest Noodles Were Made
The culinary record was set in October 2017 in the Chinese city of Nanyang in Henan Province.
Several people took up the task of making noodles.
40 kilos of flour, more than 500 grams of salt and 27 liters of water were used.
The process of creating this unusual dish took 17 hours.
As a result, the cooks got noodles 3 kilometers 84 meters long. We are talking about one continuous "macaroni".
Representatives of the Guinness Book of Records recorded the achievement. Since then, the three-kilometer noodles have been mentioned in the reference book: the record has not yet been broken.
By the way, the huge macaroni was divided into a large number of portions. Several hundred people enjoyed the dish.
