New Zealander Mike Hurd has bungee jumped off the Auckland Harbour Bridge 941 times in one day.
As a result, he was able to break the record set by Frenchman François-Marie Dibon in 2022.
On June 1 of that year, the man made his 765th buckle.

What is noteworthy is that before Dibon, the record holder was already known to us by Hurd – back in 2017, he made 430 jumps in one day.
Thus, Mike regained the lead that was once taken from him by a Frenchman and surpassed his own record by more than 500 jumps.
The man broadcasted his record attempt live.
As a result, he managed not only to enter his name into the Guinness Book of Records, but also to raise 8 thousand dollars for charity.
Mike intends to donate this amount to an organization that cares for people with mental health problems.
As the bungee jumper said, after all the effort he put in, his eyes were watering – in general, these are all the difficulties he had to face.
Fortunately, he did not experience severe dizziness - perhaps something similar to seasickness or motion sickness.
However, Mike Her managed to overcome himself and continue performing jumps.
He fortified himself with chocolate, nuts, bananas and a slice of pizza, and chose water and energy drinks for drinks, but he tried to work on his mental health rather than his physical exhaustion, as setting the record was a serious psychological battle for him.
