One day, a British woman became seriously afraid for her child.
The baby ran out onto the road. The woman screamed loudly.
Fortunately, everything ended well: nothing terrible happened to the child.
At the same time, Drake discovered that she had an interesting ability - to make very loud sounds.
The record was officially registered on one of the October days in 2000.
Jill Drake produced a sound of 129 decibels during an event in London.
This result was recorded by a sound level meter.
The compilers of the Guinness Book of Records recognized the achievement.
Since then, Jill Drake has been mentioned in the reference book as the person who managed to scream the loudest.
