Hamako Mori from Japan has become the oldest gamer in the world.

At the time the record was registered in the famous Guinness Book of Records, the woman was 90 years old.

Hamako became interested in gaming back in 1981 when she saw children enthusiastically playing consoles.

Then she thought that it was probably a lot of fun, and it would be unfair to deprive herself of such entertainment just because of her advanced age.

At first she was not successful in this field, but over time she became an experienced player.

Ms. Mori started out playing old video games like Super Mario, but now she's more into hardcore shooters and survival racing.

Among them are Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and GTA 5.

Another, so to speak, non-standard for Hamako’s age passion is her YouTube channel, where she teaches other players how to complete levels and missions.

By the way, the channel has a telling name and translates as “Grandma-gamer”.

Mori devotes about 8 hours every day to her hobby. At the same time, the woman does not think that she is wasting her time.

On the contrary, in her own words, she enjoys her life.

Other players (for the most part) admire Hamako and would not mind if their character in the game died at her hands.
