Ordinary people have been robbed of the simplest chances to become famous throughout the world with the help of the Guinness Book of Records.
The organizing committee has officially stopped considering applications for their registration. Perhaps this is even for the better.
It is not known why this decision was made – under pressure from activists or for other reasons, but the decision was made.
Pets
The Book of Records Committee no longer records the heaviest domestic animals. Today, the Book includes cats, dogs, and even fish.
People will not be able to become famous anymore due to a fat animal.
Health records
1. You won't be able to set a record at the expense of your own health, due to sleepless nights. Caffeine, pharmaceuticals and energy drinks no longer count.
Randy Gardner will be the record holder forever.
2. The same applies to alcohol consumption and those who want to become famous throughout the world by drinking more than anyone else.
3. The organizing committee also excluded records related to overeating.
You will no longer be able to set a record with fast food or other inedible stuff, as Michel Lotito did, who ate glass, metal and electrical appliances.
Burial
Mike Meany spent 61 days alive in a coffin in a grave, and he was lucky - the record was counted when he returned to the world of living people.
When Jeff Smith, who had been "resting" in peace for three whole months, rose from the grave, he was informed that the organizing committee no longer registered such madness.
