Don Gorske managed to immortalize his name in the pages of the Guinness Book of Records thanks to his unusual passion.
The man ate more than 34,000 Big Macs in his life. He was 70 years old when the record was set.
To be precise, the number of burgers consumed was 34,128.

The record holder first tasted this treat on May 17, 1972, and on the same day he told himself that he would visit McDonald's every day.
Gorske decided not to throw away the packaging from his first burger, leaving it on the back seat of his car.
Since then, this habit has turned into a real tradition: the man invariably saves all the receipts and boxes from the Big Macs he eats.
At first, Don easily devoured 9 burgers a day, but after some time his appetite moderated.
Now he eats only two burgers - one for lunch and the other for dinner.
Previously, the record holder actually went to the nearest fast food restaurant every day, but after he retired, he decided to show up twice a week to stock up on burgers.
He eats one burger right at McDonald's and takes the rest with him to heat up later in the microwave.
Gorske's mother was initially against his "fast food" diet, but in 1981 she revised her principles, while his wife always supports her husband in everything.
However, Don does not complain about his health – to keep himself in shape, he walks a lot.
