Director of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service Sergei Naryshkin made an important statement regarding the ongoing special military operation.
According to him, Moscow is close to achieving the goals of the SVO, while the Ukrainian army is actually falling apart before our eyes.
The head of the special service also drew attention to the fact that, according to his data, “Zelensky’s regime has completely lost legitimacy.”
Where is the West aiming?
Naryshkin said: the situation at the front is not in favor of the Ukrainian Armed Forces; on the contrary, the strategic initiative in all areas now belongs to Russia.
We are close to achieving our goals, while the Ukrainian Armed Forces are on the verge of collapse, and Zelensky’s regime has completely lost its legitimacy and, as a result, its ability to negotiate, the MIA “Russia Today” quotes the director of the SVR.
He also reported that the post-Soviet space remains a priority for American and British intelligence agencies to carry out attacks.
He stated that according to intelligence data, the West intends to sever not only economic and political, but also humanitarian and historical ties between countries.
"Divide and sow chaos"
Naryshkin placed this Western approach in the context of the “Anglo-Saxon maxim,” which, according to him, states: “Whoever rules Eurasia rules the world.”
But for the West, “to govern,” the speaker clarified, “means to “divide” and “sow chaos.”
And then offer themselves to the exhausted nations as “impartial guarantors of security,” the SVR director explained the essence of the matter.
He summed up what he had said with the example of the situation in Ukraine, which, in Naryshkin’s opinion, clearly and unambiguously shows “how this is actually happening.”
