No matter how restless your kitten is, you can be sure that with due patience you will be able to teach him to perform simple commands.
Cats, as a rule, are highly intelligent, so mastering a command such as, for example, “Sit!” will not be particularly difficult for them.
To help your pet master this skill, prepare a treat for him (a couple of cat food pellets will do), and you are ready to begin.
While the kitten is standing, hold the food in front of its nose. The main thing is not to lift it too high, because otherwise the animal will not sit down, but will stand up.
Slowly move the food over your cat's head. Soon his nose will go up and his back will drop to the floor.
As soon as the kitten takes a sitting position, say the command "Sit!" and give the hard worker some food. Don't forget to praise your pet for his efforts.
Over time, you will notice that your pet sits when you simply raise your hand without food. Gradually withdraw the treat, but not the praise - continue to call the kitten "good boy" when he sits.
Let's look at another command - "Bring!" Learning this trick can turn into several hours of fun games, so don't miss the opportunity to have an interesting time with your pet.
You should start by preparing an object. It can be a toy, a ball, or just a ball of crumpled paper.
When the kitten is nearby, give the command "Fetch!" while simultaneously extending your arm as if you were about to throw the selected object.
When the kitten grabs the object, wait until it looks at you, then slowly move away and wave your hand, calling your pet to you. Repeat the command "Bring!" Take the toy and do everything described above again.
To prevent the baby from getting tired, do not make the training too long: watch the animal’s reaction and stop the exercise in time.
