If you are going to train your dog at home, it is worth using the "carrot and stick" method.
A whip is not a physical punishment for an animal, but shouts and noise that will help wean the dog from wrong actions. Kind words and rewards in the form of a treat will do as a carrot.
How to Choose Treats for Training
A pet treat must meet a number of requirements.
First of all, it should be easily transportable: raisins taken for a walk threaten you with crushed berries and sticky hands. Raw meat is also not suitable, since it leaves a smell and traces of blood.
Another important condition: the treat must be so tasty that the dog will do everything possible to get it. Otherwise, the attempt to train your pet will end in failure.
In addition, the treat should be healthy, easy to chew and small (of the same size).
Plain dog food will not work for these purposes, since training will only be successful if the dog is very hungry.
The best options are biscuits, boiled sausage or frankfurters cut into cubes, low-fat cheese (Adyghe), etc.
