Cats love to jump on tables, dressers, shelves and other types of furniture.

This behavior of the purr is quite understandable: the pet needs to explore and control the territory of the apartment.

However, the cat's owner may not like the appearance of the animal on a particular surface.

For example, a pet owner is unlikely to be pleased if the furry creature jumps onto the dining table at the very moment when the person is eating.

It is generally accepted that it is very difficult to wean a cat from jumping on furniture.

And indeed, cats are difficult to train.

But you can cheat and turn the surface into an area that the animal perceives as unpleasant or even dangerous.

What needs to be glued to the furniture

Double-sided tape will come to the aid of the pet owner.

Stick it on a table or any other surface that you want to make “off limits” for your furry four-legged friend.

There will be sticky areas on the furniture, which cats really don’t like: they don’t like it when something sticks to their paws.

As a result, the cat will stop jumping on furniture that has double-sided tape stuck to it.

After some time, the adhesive tape can be removed.
