Many furry creatures ignore beds, preferring to sleep on the floor.
What is it about flooring that attracts cats so much?
It is quite possible that the animal simply finds it comfortable to lie on this surface.
But it is possible that the pet chose such a place to rest after the owner did something wrong.
But first, we'll talk about other possible reasons why a cat sleeps on the floor.
The floor is cold
If such a habit appeared in the cat after the beginning of the hot period, then we can make an unambiguous conclusion: the pet is attracted to a cold surface.
Sleeping in the cool is, of course, much more comfortable than in high air temperatures.
The cat hasn't gotten used to the bed yet.
Perhaps the animal refuses to sleep on the bed because it is simply not used to this soft device.
There is nothing wrong with that. You just have to wait: after a while, your pet will love its "bed".
Once the owner pushed the cat
If a cat has always slept on the same bed as a person, and then suddenly moved to the floor covering, then it is possible that a small incident occurred at some point.
Perhaps the sleeping owner accidentally pushed his four-legged friend.
Earlier we told you whether you can let a cat into your bed at all.
