Some cats behave very strangely before approaching the litter box.
Animals run around the apartment and meow very loudly. Sometimes the sound that appears can be called a real scream.
We hasten to reassure cat owners: in most cases there is no reason to worry.
But you still can’t relax: sometimes a cat’s scream before going to the toilet really does indicate a problem.
So what is the reason for this fluffy behavior? There are three possible explanations.
The pet attracts attention
Perhaps the cat is demanding that the owner clean the litter box.
It is also possible that the animal is warning the person that he will soon have to clean up after his pet.
Intestinal peristalsis
It is possible that the cat's bowels began to work actively as it prepared to go to the toilet.
Meowing is a reaction to the sensations that the pet encounters.
The cat is in pain
Unfortunately, sometimes a cat's screaming in front of the toilet indicates a serious problem.
It is possible that the animal experiences painful sensations when performing “that very” task.
If you have any such suspicions, take your pet to a veterinary clinic.
