Research shows that cats are not dumber than dogs, and maybe even the opposite. Dogs are just social creatures, while cats are not so much.
However, cats can also be trained and can even imitate their owners.
Scientists have come to such conclusions. They believe that cats can repeat human actions.
During the research it was found that domestic cats closely follow human actions and even learn to repeat some of them.
The data collected over ten years was analyzed and the effectiveness of the “Do as I Do” training method was studied.
During training, a person tries to get the cat to repeat certain actions.
As it turns out, domestic cats are indeed capable of repeating some things after their owner.
After assessing the movements performed, the scientists concluded that the identity was approximately 81%.
Before this, it was believed that only monkeys and parrots, and among sea creatures, dolphins and killer whales, could imitate humans.
But skeptics are in no hurry to agree with the conclusions, saying that circus bears can ride bicycles and motorcycles, but this does not mean that they imitate people.
