Anyone can get mad when they hear a dog barking all day long behind the wall, let alone an owner who thinks the dog has no reason to do so.
But can a dog bark for no reason? Experts have a different point of view.
Why does a dog bark?
Firstly, dogs do not tolerate loneliness well. Breeds that are exceptionally loyal and devoted tolerate separation from their owners even more acutely.
Secondly, the owner should think about visiting a vet. Something is obviously bothering the dog. If the dog barks during the day without any obvious reasons or irritants, it may even be a cry for help.
You also need to pay attention to appetite, digestion, and behavior.
Thirdly, age-related problems can also occur in dogs. If it is a puppy, then barking can be caused by stress.
An adult dog experiences stress, anxiety, hunger, and abuse.
Fourthly, a dog can bark at night, but not without reason or because it senses intruders.
Dogs are also prone to fear. They can be frightened by sudden noise from the street or from neighboring apartments.
In this case, the owner needs to calm the pet down, understand the reasons, needs, and, if necessary, show it to the veterinarian.
