At the same time, the average lifespan of domestic cats was established, as well as the factors determining the longevity of a pet.
This question was addressed by the staff of the Royal Veterinary College of London. The results of the study were published by Live Science.

In total, scientists studied the lifestyle of about 8,000 domestic cats living in the UK and who died from January 2019 to March 2021.
For convenience, the data was compiled into tables, with the main focus being on age and health status.
