Cynologists say that naturally aggressive dogs simply do not exist – their owners or circumstances make them that way.

As for domestic dogs, if you notice a change in your pet's behavior in time, you can seek help from experts who specialize in behavior correction.

Therefore, it is important to know the behavioral signals that can be called dangerous.

Dog barking is not a sign of a threat of attack. Often, animals that are afraid of a threat from the outside do this, thereby scaring off passers-by, protecting their owner.

In other cases, you need to be careful.

Firstly, if the dog is tense, then this is a sign of preparation for a jump, attack or other action.

At this point, all of the animal's muscles may be tense.

Secondly, an aggressive animal will not bark to warn you that it is preparing to attack.

A bared grin may be used as a warning, while the animal may remain silent or growl weakly.

Thirdly, an aggressive dog will watch the object's behavior especially closely, without squinting or other signs of recognition.

Fourthly, before attacking, an aggressive dog may make several attempts to bite and retreat. In this way, the animal evaluates the reaction and strength of the opponent.

Earlier we talked about how to find the right approach to a dog – to train or educate.
