Quite often we see numerous messages on lamp posts about a runaway pet.
The dog can not only run away from the yard, but also simply disappear.
If this happened once and the pet returned, then it can be attributed to a momentary change in mood.
But if this happens on a regular basis, then it is better to take certain actions.
What causes can influence a dog's behavior?
There are 3 reasons that can be identified.
- Fear: A dog may remember a place where it was once frightened and run away if it recognizes the surroundings.
- The dog is bored. Sometimes it just wants to run, or it goes in search of adventures. It is better for you to play with your pet at home.
- Curiosity. A dog may become interested in something unusual, and in this case, it can successfully overcome obstacles and ignore the owner's call.
Therefore, it is better to use a leash during the walk and have more contact with your dog. It would not be superfluous to conduct training.
