No one has yet been able to decipher the language of domestic animals, but a little attention to behavior will help you figure out what your dog wants to tell its owner.
Here are some examples of animal behavior and the translation of these signals into “human” language.
1. If a dog leaves after being stroked on the head, it means that the dog is demonstrating its superiority over the person and is saying that it does not like it.
2. If a dog grunts or growls when you pet it, this is a sign of a contented and happy animal.
3. When an animal has narrowed eyes, it is thinking about whether to do what its owner wants it to do.
4. If a dog jumps in front of its owner and seems to bow, then this is another example of expressing happiness, love and gratitude.
5. If the dog took food from the bowl and went to eat somewhere else, then it has reasons to protect the food from someone who might take it away. Perhaps the dog does not trust someone.
And when a dog's fur stands on end, there's clearly been a surge of adrenaline. Here you need to proceed from the situation: either the dog is worried, scared, or it's really playing up.
