Allergies are not a reason to deny yourself the pleasure of having a pet. It is not at all necessary that these be fish, turtles and other amphibians.

You can get a cat, and it doesn't have to be a bald one. There are many breeds that don't shed hair and don't cause allergies.

1. Bengal

They rarely shed, and produce insufficient amounts of the Fel D1 protein that causes allergies in humans. They are also sociable and affectionate creatures.

2. Siberian

The breed has long fur, which can alert an allergy sufferer. However, the same protein is produced in smaller quantities, and the allergy is generally controlled. However, the pet needs to be combed three times a week.

3. Devon Rex

Minimal shedding, Fel D1 is produced at a very low level, but animals need little brushing. This breed of cats needs to be bathed periodically. The breed gets along well with domestic animals, but not so well with strangers.

4. Russian Blue

The breed is similar to the Bengal. The fur is thick, dense, beautiful shade. It fits tightly to the body, and the cat almost does not shed. This breed reacts painfully to separation from the owner.

5. Laperm

Shedding is quite rare, but it needs to be brushed once every 2 days with a flexible bristle brush. But if you rarely have to be at home, this cat is not suitable - it gets bored.

6. Balinese

She is also a Siamese longhair. Fel D1 protein is produced in minimal quantities, you need to comb 3 times a week. Cats are very sociable.

7. Javanese

It has no inner undercoat, which is not scary for allergies. The fur is very thin, falls out in very small quantities. The breed is smart and sociable.

8. Cornish Rex

Relatives of the Devon Rexes. Minimum shedding, minimal grooming, but the animal should be protected from drafts.

9. Oriental Shorthair

Similar to Siamese. The coat is short, thin, without an inner undercoat. Easy to train, suffers from separation from the owner. Needs to be combed 2 times a week.

10. Sphinx

The crowning glory of all this diversity is the hairless cat. In fact, its body is covered with a very thin layer of fur. You need to monitor the temperature in the house - the cat can catch a cold.
