The sense of smell in cats, like in many other animals, is much better developed than in humans.
That's why many smells that seem pleasant to us are simply unbearable for cats.
What smells can cats hate?
If you have a cat in your home, it is better to avoid aromatherapy, especially with essential oils of citrus, rosemary and eucalyptus.
Secondly, cats really don’t like the smell of spices – cinnamon, ginger, cloves, black pepper, mustard.
If you are preparing a dish with onions or garlic, it is also better to remove the cat from the kitchen.
Cats also find the smells of our perfumes, alcohol and tobacco disgusting.
