How Cats Tolerate Cold
Thanks to its thick, dense fur, the cat is able to survive frosts of 15-20 degrees.
But this does not mean that you can leave your pet outside in winter.
A pampered domestic cat can get severe hypothermia in the cold, and at temperatures below -20 degrees it simply will not survive.
If the cat is too cold, it should be wrapped in a blanket and placed near a radiator.
You should never warm up a cat by bathing it in warm water: its fur will take a long time to dry, and it may become even colder.
