Few people have a separate room for guests, so all visitors have to be accommodated in the living room.
To ensure your guests have a comfortable stay, use the following tips.
Sofa
To create the largest possible sleeping space, unfold the sofa completely, removing the backrests and armrests if possible.
An additional mattress will help hide possible defects such as broken springs.
If there is no sofa, but you have a sleeping bag and camping foam pads, offer them to your guests. In this case, you can cook pasta with stewed meat for dinner – just like on a hike.
Coffee table
With a slight movement of the hand, the coffee table transforms into a bedside table: just remove all unnecessary items from it, leaving only a table lamp, and move it closer to the sofa.
Wi-Fi
If you don't want to be woken up at night, write the Wi-Fi password on a piece of paper and leave it in the living room. You can also place a short instruction manual on how to use other complex equipment here.
Place for things
It is not very convenient when guests are forced to leave their belongings in a suitcase - on the second day of their stay it often turns into a disorderly pile of clean and dirty clothes.
If you have a closet or dresser in or near your living room, be sure to leave a few shelves free for guests.
