Foreign scientists have conducted some very interesting studies analyzing the effects of alcoholic beverages on the human brain.
In particular, they were concerned with the question of why, after drinking alcohol, people around them begin to seem more attractive.
This initiative was put forward by employees of the University of Pittsburgh.
The results of the work were published in the Journal of Studies on Alcohol and Drugs in an article about how the dose of alcohol changes the behavior of men.
As expected, alcohol does increase your chances of successfully making another acquaintance.
Research by scientists
As part of the experiment, scientists invited 36 men over 20 years old. Each male couple was friends.
They were asked to rate images of people in photos and videos, with whom they were then given the opportunity to communicate.
The subjects had to choose the person they would be most willing to get to know.
One test was carried out sober, and the second after the blood alcohol concentration reached 0.08%.
Conclusions of scientists
The experiment showed that the chances that men would agree to talk to a particular candidate increased after drinking alcohol.
In this case, men were 1.71 times more likely to choose 1 of the 4 most attractive candidates for dialogue.
Scientists have suggested that alcohol makes a person bolder, rather than changing their attitude towards others.
