Of course, it is not yet possible to determine this with precision down to the day.

However, there are a number of specific factors that influence people's life expectancy, which has been proven by many studies.

You can calculate how long you will live using such factors as your own habits, lifestyle, and heredity in the “calculator”.

It is proposed to take the age of 67 years for men and 77 years for women as the starting material.

You will live another 9 years if you do sports or exercise at least 3 hours a week.

BMI

If your body mass index is over 25, subtract three years.

By the way, this index is calculated as follows: weight in kilos divided by height in meters squared.

For example, if your height is 1 meter 75 centimeters, square it and round it to 3.06. Then divide your weight by this number.

So, with a height of 1.75 cm and a weight of 90 kg, the BMI will be 29.41. That is, it exceeds 25 - subtract 3 years.

It is worth clarifying: a BMI between 25 and 29.9 indicates overweight, and above 30 indicates obesity.

Smoking, alcohol, nutrition

Smokers take away 13 years, since cigarettes increase the risk of cancer, lung disease, heart problems, stroke, etc.

Those who eat five times a day according to the principle of “less, but more often” add three years.

Alcohol lovers take away half a year, but on the condition that they drink no more than 5 glasses of wine per week.

If there are 10 glasses, we remove two years, and if there are more than 18 glasses, we remove 4 years.

Diabetes, nuts, stress

Subtract 20 years if you have type 1 diabetes. Minus 10 years if you have type 2 diabetes.

Add 3 years if you eat nuts at least 4-5 times a week. Add 2 years if you eat at least 3 servings of fish a week.

Those who have children should add two years. Swedish scientists have discovered that parents live longer than their childless peers.

Minus 2.8 years for those who "burn out" at work. Stress is a direct path to obesity, heart disease, type 2 diabetes and even some cancers.

Friends, TV, books

Plus 7 years – for those who have friends with whom they communicate constantly.

Plus 8 years - if a person has regular sex life. Scientists have proven that sex can lower blood pressure, as well as cholesterol levels, while improving blood circulation.

Minus 4.8 years – for those who watch TV six or more hours a day.

Plus two years for book lovers – provided you read at least 3-4 hours a week.
