Where to go for a New Year's mood in Minsk
As Silich said, over 100 events are planned. Thus, from December 11 to January 7, the residence of Minsk Father Frost is open in the shopping center "Pershi natsianalny gandlevy dom".
On December 24, the Belarusian State Circus will host a theatrical performance for children. Disabled children, orphans, children left without parental care, children from low-income and large families, pupils of military-patriotic clubs and other categories will be invited.
Also on December 24, the New Year's forum of the main Father Frosts and Snow Maidens from each district of the capital will start in the Upper Town.
From December 25 to January 2, the Upper Town will host the New Year's show "New Year in Toyland" every day at 17:30 and 20:00.
From December 24 to January 3, the administrative complex on Pobediteley Avenue, 14, will host New Year's musical performances, including charity ones, performed by artists from the Youth Variety Theatre.
On January 3, 4 and 6, the Palace of Independence is planning a New Year's interactive performance for children, "Fairy Tale Quest: In the Footsteps of the Winter Queen."
Until January 14, a Christmas fair will be open at the site near the Sports Palace.
From December 26 to January 7 at 19:00, this site will show the New Year's fairy tale "The Wizard of the Old City, or the Secret of Trinity Suburb"; interactive and festive programs are planned during the Christmas holidays.
From December 25 to January 2, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, festive New Year's performances will be held in Rakovskiy Dvorik.
On New Year's Eve, mass festivities will take place at 20 open areas, in the city center - at the site near the Sports Palace.
Concert venues in the districts will be open until 3-4 am, and at the Sports Palace until 4 am.
The metro will operate until 04:00, and ground transportation will begin operating at 05:00.
