The Belarusian capital is actively preparing for the New Year. Work on the festive decoration of the city is underway around the clock.
Experts suggest decorating Minsk with a multitude of Christmas trees, including illuminated ones, garlands, and light figures.
In particular, 27 illuminated New Year trees will appear at the main sites alone, the Minsk-Novosti agency was told at the Mingorsvet enterprise.
By the way. The named organization currently services more than 117,000 street lamps, courtyards, parks and squares, as well as about 70,000 supports.
The latter are constantly updated (dismantled, delivered to the base, where the old paint is removed, and various defects are eliminated).
As for light structures, there are 550 of them in Minsk, 120 of which are three-dimensional figures.
Among these we can recall "MAZ", "Traktor", "Zubr". Their number increases every year.
For example, in the Sevastopol Park last year they installed light floor lamps and “planted” three light trees.
This year, light feathers appeared on Sverdlova Street, and multi-colored bells appeared on Komsomolskaya Street.
A “flower” appeared on Bogushevich Square, “tulips” on Dzerzhinsky Avenue, and a “Star” installation in Victory Park.
And these are just a few of the projects implemented in 2024 by specialists from the power grid district No. 5 of Mingorsvet.
The organization's employees promise to launch a new illumination network on Chkalov Street in the near future, install "Pushkin lanterns", provide New Year's trees with new flowers and a number of other interesting new products.
