Narcissists seem like considerate and even normal people, but they always pursue one goal - to rise in the eyes of others and certainly at the expense of others.

But if their goal is always the same, then the means to achieve it are different. Apparently, this is why psychologists distinguish four different types of narcissistic behavior.

What types of narcissistic behavior exist, and which of them should be avoided more than others, reports the portal “ Psychologies.ru ”.

First type: shining

This is the most common behavior pattern of people of this type.

Among others, they stand out for their maximum focus on personal success, as well as their obsession with ideas of their own exclusivity.

The best way to characterize their behavior is the idea of superiority over others in everything. And they are really ready to do anything to attract attention.

They have no developed empathy, and they only need others to express their admiration and approval.

Second type: hidden

These people are skilled manipulators, but unlike the first type, they are not able to attract attention to themselves so vividly - joke, have casual conversations, etc.

These are very envious people. They are introverts and cannot fill their inner emptiness, which is why they begin to experience real suffering.

They end up becoming passive-aggressive and hurting others by trying to appear weak and making others feel guilty.

Third type: activist

They can engage in quite noble deeds and are considered the most socially adapted type.

But they simply need to receive praise, and knowledge and skills are secondary to them. They do not need good deeds, but confirmation of their importance in society.

However, there are chances to change the worst traits of this type of narcissist.

The fourth type: toxic

They avoid publicity, do not need recognition, but surround themselves with dependent people, literally dominating them.

They can humiliate family members or subordinates. For them, someone else's success or just a good mood is considered unacceptable.

The narcissist will immediately try to ruin everything, and then he himself will begin to console his victim.

It is impossible to agree on anything and build equal relationships with such a person.
