Many experienced gardeners feed tomatoes with iodine.
Such gardeners understand that the product brings enormous benefits to the crop.
Why feed tomatoes with iodine
There are two reasons. First: an alcohol solution of iodine can act as a great fertilizer.
Thanks to this component, the fruits will ripen very quickly.
The second reason: iodine is not only a fertilizer, but also a remedy against one serious disease.
We are talking about late blight, which tomatoes encounter quite often.
Thus, the correct use of iodine in a tomato bed is a guarantee of obtaining a huge amount of absolutely healthy, large, fleshy, juicy and sweet fruits.
How to make a tomato remedy from iodine
Take a standard bucket and fill it with plain water.
Add a little iodine solution from a bottle taken from the first aid kit to the liquid. Do not overdo it with the component: four drops are enough, no more is needed.
Next, water the tomatoes with the prepared solution. Each plant should receive two liters of liquid.
