Garden strawberries should receive plenty of sunlight.

Growing in the shade can result in a sharp decrease in yield.
The harvested fruits will not be sweet: an unpleasant sourness will clearly disappoint you.
Next to the raspberries
Strawberries don't get along with raspberries.
If these representatives of flora grow next to each other, they begin to compete for moisture, useful compounds and microelements.
In addition, both plants begin to be even more “afraid” of pests.
The result is low yields (or even complete absence of harvests) of both berry crops.
Next to the potatoes
Potatoes are also a bad “neighbor” for strawberries.
