Do you soak your seeds before planting? Even if you do, there is a way to speed up their germination by half.
Imagine that your tomatoes will sprout not in a week, but tomorrow.
Hydrogen peroxide
All you need is regular hydrogen peroxide. Dilute 1 teaspoon in a glass of water and soak the seeds for 12 hours.

Peroxide destroys growth inhibitors that slow down the awakening of the embryo.
Wake up with snow
But that's not all. Pepper and eggplant seeds can be "awakened" with snow. Yes, the same snow that lies outside the window.
Place the seeds on a damp napkin, bury them in the snow for a day, and then immediately plant them in the ground. The cold will activate natural survival mechanisms, and the shoots will appear in a friendly formation.
Alarm clock method
And if the seeds are old and do not germinate well, try the “alarm clock” method.
Wrap them in a damp cloth, put them in a container and put them on a radiator for 2 hours, then in the refrigerator for 2 hours. Repeat the cycle 3-4 times. The temperature changes imitate the change of day and night, causing the seeds to wake up.
Bananas
And don't throw away banana peels! Pour boiling water over them, cool them down and soak the seeds in the infusion overnight. Potassium and phosphorus from the peel will give a powerful start to growth.
But there are other secrets.
For example, aloe vera juice is a natural stimulant. Cut a leaf, squeeze out a teaspoon of gel, mix with water and soak the seeds for 6 hours. This will not only speed up germination, but also protect against bacteria.
And for pumpkin crops (cucumbers, zucchini) use warm soda.
Carbon dioxide softens the seed coat. Just soak them in the drink for 20 minutes, then rinse. And never soak the seeds in boiling water! This will kill the embryos. The water should not be hotter than +40 degrees Celsius.
How to Know When Seeds Are Ready to Plant
After soaking, they should swell, but not hatch.
If sprouts are already visible, plant them immediately, otherwise they will die.
And remember: carrot and parsley seeds germinate better in the dark. Sprinkle them with a 1 cm layer of soil and cover with black film until the first shoots appear.
