The next summer cottage season is almost upon us.
Considering that in many regions the winter is quite warm, it can be assumed that spring will not be long in coming.
Therefore, experienced gardeners are already beginning to prepare for the upcoming chores.
One of these, unfortunately, is associated from season to season with immortal and indestructible pests.
In turn, among these, slugs are particularly impudent.
No matter how and with what they were fought, these slippery creatures in every sense of the word are once again showing up at people’s plots.
Of course, chemicals can help, but not everyone prefers to use poisons, especially since they can harm plants.
Since there are not as many slugs as, say, there are ants, they can be destroyed in a different way – an environmentally friendly one.
All you need to do is go out to the area in the evening, after the sun has set, find a cluster of slugs, and heartily “treat” them with ordinary table salt.
Do not spare the means, show maximum generosity for such guests.
This salt has an extremely negative effect on slugs - they quickly shrink, or, in other words, die.
In the morning, all of their exterminated tribe can be collected in a bucket and buried outside your land plot.
