A flower bed is a real decoration of a country house.
But sooner or later the flowerbed will begin to lose this status.
The fact is that the flora representatives growing there have different flowering periods.
What will happen is that faded flowers will appear, causing the flowerbed to become partially unsightly.
Of course, in this case, you can seriously change the design of the flower bed. But the corresponding actions will take too much time and effort.
How can a summer resident initially simplify his life?
An expert of the online publication "BelNovosti", agronomist and landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh offers an interesting method of planting ornamental plants.
"Pot in pot": the essence of the method
It is advisable to create a flower bed in the following way: you need to make several depressions in the selected area.
We are talking about holes comparable in size to plastic pots.
Place empty containers in these holes. Then insert flower pots into the resulting niches and sprinkle with soil. The flowerbed is ready!
What's good about the resulting decorative area? It can be partially changed at any time.
It is enough to simply remove the container with the plant that has lost its decorative effect from the outer pot and install a new container with another representative of the flora.
The replacement is very simple. During the transplantation, the root system of the plants located nearby is not damaged.
In addition, there are no problems with watering and fertilizing.
For reference
A flower garden is a plot (limited area) where ornamental plants are grown.
