The winter months are the perfect time to stock up on seeds for the upcoming planting season.
However, you shouldn't mindlessly sweep the brightly colored bags off the shelves, otherwise in the summer you'll have to clutch your head in amazement at what's grown in the beds, and that's in the best case scenario. In the worst case, the seeds won't sprout at all.
The inscription "Future hit of 2025"
Such loud phrases are nothing more than a marketing ploy. There are no forecasters among agronomists, so it is completely unclear who exactly decided that this crop would break all yield records.
Marked "New"
As for new varieties, the result does not always match the expectation. Selection is constantly evolving, but not every experiment by scientists leads to the creation of a quality product. So do not be surprised if you see inconspicuous flower beds in the garden or small tomatoes.
Exotic
The choice of seeds should be based on the region of residence - if it does not coincide with the region where this variety is actively grown, then you are unlikely to achieve a good result from planting such seeds. Due to the unusual composition of the soil, weather conditions, insufficient or, conversely, too much sunlight, this type of seed may simply not survive.
Attractive picture
As a rule, what we see on the cover is not a real photo, but an image created using computer graphics. It often happens that glossy, “expensive” packaging hides poor quality, so do not rush to pass by seeds packed in white, nondescript bags.
