Gardeners believe that treating seed potatoes before planting allows them to harvest a rich crop.
Of course, the shoots will also appear earlier after such treatment.
Preparation is carried out by spraying the tubers before planting. We will tell you how to prepare a nutrient solution.
Increasing crop yields
To get a rich harvest, it is necessary to prepare seed potatoes before planting.
The treatment is carried out two days before the start of the main work.
For 10 liters of water you will need:
- superphosphate 40 g;
- potassium salt 40 g;
- nitrogen fertilizer 40 gr.
Dissolve the ingredients and start processing when ready. The ready solution should be enough for 5 kilograms of planting material.
You can also soak the tubers in this solution if they have not yet sprouted, but this should be done a day before planting.
Summer residents who practice this method claim that shoots appear earlier after treatment, and the tubers grow larger.
