Capricious tomatoes require constant attention from gardeners.
But even with timely watering, fertilizing, shaping of bushes and other necessary procedures, there remains a risk of being left without a harvest in a matter of days due to diseases to which this crop is susceptible.
The fight against the dangers that await tomatoes at every step should begin with prevention. Here are the most popular recipes for medicinal solutions that can be used for preventive treatment of tomatoes.
Turmeric infusion
To prepare an infusion for spraying tomatoes on the leaves, you will need to combine 10 g of turmeric powder, 2 g of ground black pepper and 200 ml of vodka.
Wait 1-2 days, then measure out 2 tablespoons of the infusion and dissolve them in 5 liters of settled water. When everything is ready, add 0.5 liters of whey, and after straining you can begin processing.
Onion peel infusion
This option is even easier to prepare than the previous one, as it consists of only 200 g of onion peel and 1 liter of warm water.
The infusion time is 1 day, after which the composition is filtered, brought to a volume of 10 liters with water and used for foliar treatment or root watering.
Garlic infusion
The plan of action is approximately the same, only now the main role is played by 150 g of pre-crushed garlic. Pour 1 liter of water over the prepared raw material, wait 24 hours, and after straining bring the volume to 10 liters.
Horsetail decoction
If you know where to get 0.5 kg of horsetail shoots, consider it a done deal, because all you have to do is soak the plants in 2 liters of water overnight.
In the morning, boil the infusion, wait until it cools, then pour it onto gauze to get rid of unnecessary impurities. Before you start processing the tomato beds, the horsetail decoction should be diluted with water in a ratio of 1 to 10.
