The mole cricket is a large insect that poses a huge danger to many crops.

The pest can gnaw through the roots of plants and cause serious damage to the stems, which will ultimately lead to the death of the flora representative.

The mole cricket poses a particular danger to eggplants, cabbage, potatoes, peppers and tomatoes.

Therefore, we must fight the mole cricket. Of course, it is worth using insecticides.

It also makes sense to pay attention to “natural” methods of struggle.

So, you can plant "repellent" plants on the site. There are three interesting options.

Marigold

This beautiful plant has a strong smell that the mole cricket really doesn't like.

And not only her. The aroma of marigolds repels aphids, nematodes, Colorado beetles and many other pests.

You can prepare an infusion of marigolds and then pour drops of this liquid onto the plants that are most vulnerable to dangerous insects.

Mustard

This representative of flora also smells a certain way. The result is the disappearance of both the mole cricket and the wireworm with the cabbage butterfly.

In addition, carrot and onion flies and aphids are afraid of the smell of mustard.

Calendula

This plant will not only decorate the area, but will also "drive away" the mole cricket. Other pests will also disappear: the Colorado potato beetle, caterpillars, ticks.

Calendula will also saturate the soil with substances that prevent the spread of various diseases.

In autumn, the plant can be used to improve the condition of the soil cover: simply dig up the soil together with the crushed plant. As a result, the soil will become more fertile.
