Snow can become a real problem for owners of private houses and country houses.

To make the process of snow removal easier and more enjoyable, you can use a snow blower. It is up to you to decide which equipment to choose – a simple “electric shovel” or a real caterpillar “monster”.

Electric snow blower

Electric snow blowers are the most affordable and easy-to-use option. They are powered by an electric motor and are supplied by a 220 V network.

As you already understood, the advantages of this option include its low price, but there are other advantages, such as compact dimensions and low noise level. Electric snow blowers can remove snow cover from ornamental plants without harming them.

The weaknesses include the limited range due to the cable, and the fact that they are less powerful than petrol models.

Electric snow blowers are great for clearing freshly fallen snow from small areas and paths.

Battery powered snow blower

Battery-powered models do not need to be plugged into a power outlet, so they boast complete freedom of movement.

But these models also have their drawbacks, because their battery life depends on the battery charge. A spare battery will solve the problem.

Battery-powered snow blowers cost more than their electric counterparts, and they also need to be charged. Otherwise, the same applies to them as to the previous option.

Gasoline Snow Blower

Gasoline snow blowers are powerful machines designed to work in difficult conditions.

In addition to high power and performance, their advantages include independence from the power grid and the ability to handle large volumes of snow.

However, they require regular maintenance, including oil and filter changes, and refueling with petrol. Fuel consumption is between 2 and 4 litres per hour.

Buying a petrol model will be justified if you have a large yard and driveways to clean.
